What a beautiful way to see autumn, as a time to finish what’s started. Love that!
I love your stories and the life you are describing.
I live in the countryside near Billund. So, if you live somewhere not too far away, I would love to meet! We also have a toddler and a baby 😊
Also, I wanted to ask you, how do you manage the garden and preservations? And yet spend a good amount of quality time with the children? I often feel like it’s either the one or the other 😀 Would love to manage both 🌺
We are quite far up North, in Northern Jutland! And I agree, it is quite difficult to get a lot done in the garden. Most of the time we just do a little and spread it out over several days. Sometimes the toddler joins and it’s a combination of quality time and garden work which is really the best in my opinion, and other times, when something just HAS to get done (like fencing in the fruit orchard before the deers eat the tiny new fruit trees) I will usually take the kids, and Herluf will do the work. Since I am a stay-at-home-mother and Herluf works from home three days a week, we are lucky to get a lot of time with our children ❤️

I agree that doing something that needs to be done anyway together with the children, is one of the best ways to spend time with them.

Can’t believe I almost missed this wonderful comment! Thank you so much for your kind words, Jessica ❤️
It was my dream too for many years before being lucky enough to end up here 🧡
